Quality Engineer

Looking for an automotive Quality Enginere. this company follows the AIAG format for quality, but each of their customers have different ways they want things done. This company has about 40 customers, so the quality team has to be flexible to the different demands of each day. Their plant is separated into 4 different areas that they refer to as plants 1-4. QE's are responsible for certain areas of the plants, not certain customers. They own the particular processes and product lines in their own respective plants. This person needs to have great knowledge of control plans, FMEA, and APQP. They need a big time team player to help steer the team in the right direction with these aspects. Not doing as much APQP right now, but are doing a lot of corrective actions. Would really want TS background. Looking for someone who would like to move into a quality managment role.

Qualifications:

Strong APQP background

Proven problem solving background

Customer quality experience

Strong dimensional skills- measurements, GD&T
