Aerotek Professional Services is looking for a Credentialling Specialist for one of its clients based out of the Gallatin, TN area. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity looking to go to work immediatly.
The Credentialling Specialist is Responsible for:
- All aspects of the credentialing and privileging processes for all medical providers who provide patient care for Client.
- Ensuring providers are credentialed, appointed, and privileged with health plans, hospitals and patient care facilities.
- Maintaining up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems.
Job Requirements:
- Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all providers.
- Completes provider credentialing applications;monitors applications, and follows-up as needed.
- Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates,malpractice coverage, and any other required credentialing documents for all providers.
- Maintains knowledge of current health plan and agency requirements for credentialing providers.
- Sets up and maintains provider information in online credentialing databases and system.
- Ensures practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies and other entities.
- Processes applications for appointment and reappointment of privileges.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience- Must have at least 1 year of medical credentialing and experience gaining health plan privileges required.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred, but not required.
