Lifeguards survey pools and attractions and protect safety of guests, and use Lifeguard and First Aid skills when needed. Slide Dispatchers additionally interact with guests and assist in sending them down the slides in a trained, safe manner.
Must be 15 years or older and must hold current American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, and Waterpark certifications (Applicants can certify with the Seven Peaks certification courses in May - more info available in interviews).
Duties:
Politely respond to guest questions and concerns according to company policy.
Survey pools and attractions, using skills as necessary to keep guests safe; Watch pools and attractions if they periodically close or at night as guests leave the park.
Schedule appropriately and swim all required 500's throughout the summer.
Fast-paced, sometimes demanding working conditions; working in the heat and sun required, and walking through the park several times a day is required.
Qualifications:
15 yrs and above
Must pass basic Swim Test administered during interview process
Red Cross Lifeguard, Waterpark, & CPR Certified (certification courses available through Seven Peaks)
Ability to remain positive and happy in demanding situations
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines when necessary
