Posting Job Description

Purpose:
Route and update service and installation work requests from customers and office personnel. Communicate work to the field personnel and monitor progress closely to help insure completion of assigned work in a timely manner. Assist field associates with concerns regarding work order accuracy and equipment operation.

Essential Job Functions:

- Communicate with field personnel via text message.

- Update, create, clear work order requests from field personnel. Process payments.

- Route same day work to field personnel via workforce management.

- Ensure timely completion of all scheduled work orders; weather guidelines are taken into consideration during appropriate times of the year.

- Call each customer to ensure home for scheduled work.

- Answer incoming phone calls from field personnel.

- Process email & IssueTrak requests.

Job Requirements:
- Successfully master Dispatch I/II skills by consistency displaying 12 months of exceeds sustained performance, minimum 6 months.
- Required LMS/Hands-on course completion
- Maintain scorecard average of 2.5
- Must be able to meet the expert skill level assessment.
- Daily technician logs to ensure proper update of each work order.
- Answer incoming text messages and phone calls.
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct issues related to provisioning. (Send hits, Update OMSe)
- Ensure reliable exchange of information between other departments and field personnel.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

Communication Skill level:

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

- Ability to write simple correspondence.

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning ability:

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Specialized Skills:
- Working knowledge of all TWC products and the ability to use appropriate terms and acronyms when discussing PPV, VOD, Fiber, HSD, Plant and Telephony.
- Demonstrated ability to use ICOMS, Issue Trak, email, IM, MS Excel & Word.
- Expertise level of Unified/ATG tools and provisioning (Bin files, IP addresses)
- Expertise level Phone, HSD, and Video troubleshooting abilities
- Expertise level of OMSe phone provisioning

Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical plant knowledge.

Other skills and abilities including those specific to locale:
- Ability to support the department efforts 365 days, including holidays.
- Proven good attendance record.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers on an ongoing basis.
- Project a positive attitude and be a team player.

Materials and Equipment used:
- Personal computers.
- All products provided to TWC customers, including HSD, Video, VOD, DVR, Wireless Networking, Digital Phone.
- Ancillary products used in conjunction with TWC products, including HD & SD TVs, wireless gateways and bridges, plasma & LCD TVs, personal computers.
