Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining the internal and external appearance of the building, which includes, interior housekeeping, maintaining the floors, emptying trash and recycling, policing the exterior of the building, minor equipment installation, painting, exterior housekeeping and ground maintenance, etc. Performs work in one or more maintenance trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting. Performs routine equipment repair and installation of office fixtures. Makes periodic or special inspections of premises to determine repair work necessary. May work from rough sketches, blueprints and drawings. Performs facility related preventive maintenance and pest control activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, perform and document facility and support equipment preventive maintenance activities.
• Pest control program.
• Fire safety inspections.
• Interior housekeeping including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, etc.
• Collecting paper, plastic and cardboard.
• Trash and recycling removal.
• Floor maintenance; routine sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing, waxing, sealing, etc.
• Exterior grounds maintenance; removal of snow from sidewalks, salting, landscape and foliage maintenance, etc.
• Occasional painting.
• Minor equipment installation and repair.
• Work in a safe manner, following company rules and guidelines.
• Regular attendance, getting to work on time, working scheduled hours.
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, FDA, DEA, KY BOP, OSHA, etc.
• Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications: (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level)
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Basic personal computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Ability to work well with others in a team oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications: (if above and beyond the minimum required)
• Industrial Maintenance Training/Education.
• Experience in one or more maintenance trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or painting.
• Experience in facilities maintenance.

Physical Demands:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate equipment required. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
