Position summary: Provide support for the ERP system and related applications including developing, testing and implementing databases and reports. Support end users with technical related issues or questions.
Primary Position responsibilities:
- Write reports for the ERP system
- Provide end user support for the ERP system
-Develop, test, and implement Progress databases and applications
-Monitor, administer and maintain production ERP environment
- Custom program development and deployment
- Application administration and development
- Other duties as assigned

Language skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Possess the ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Mathematical skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Reporting to this position:

Physical demands and work environment:
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment, but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from high-speed computer printers and other peripherals. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment. Duties may also involve occasional stooping, crawling and lifting of up to 40 lbs. in order to install or check the installation of network devices and cabling. Occasional travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology related positions - Minimum 4 years of experience in software development -At least 3 years of experience with QAD Application development and support - At least 3 years of experience with Progress application development and support - At least 2 years of experience supporting QAD end users -At least 2 years of experience administering and supporting Redhat LINUX OS - At least 1 year of experience supporting QAD EAM (Enterprise Asset Management)
