James Construction Group LLC is currently in search of a Heavy Highway Superintendent in the highway and civil department. Under the direction of the Project Manager, applicant will provide overall on-site construction and technical management on large highway project sites.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
*The Heavy Highway Superintendent will supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with Client representatives and other contractors, etc.
*Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract
*Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
*Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Heavy Highway Superintendent must have a minimum of ten years construction management and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); cost control schedules, and safety required.
*Valid Driver's License
*Candidate MUST be detailed oriented, self-motivated, accurate, excellent communication, organization, and supervisory skills essential. Must be able to work under critical deadlines, handle multiple tasks at same time with priorities assigned.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
OSHA 10, Heavy Equipment Certifications, Knowledge in cost reports, detailed and summary schedules, production tracking, Surveying, GPS controls.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and/or qualifications.
Schedule: M-F 8:00am -- 5:00pm
