Programmer Analyst II needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Allentown, PA.
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- .NET development experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- SQL Server experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong, broad knowledge of systems development, database development and Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure.
- Interface directly with business and technology representatives for database and application design, development and troubleshooting efforts.
- Microsoft server administration, such as an IIS Web administration, SQL DBA administration and file server administration as a plus.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant IT or business curriculum with minimum of five (5) years' experience in developing applications in a development environment consists of Client/Server environment utilizing Visual Studio and the .NET framework using Visual Basic, C# and Microsoft SQL Server, Web Services.
- Development experience with Microsoft's .NET Framework and Visual Studio 2010 IDE, using Visual Basic as the development language, with some C#.
- Experience in developing ASP.NET and Winforms applications using Visual Basic and MS SQL Server 2008 R2.
- Experience in Reporting Services, ASP.NET with MVC, EntitySQL, Silverlight, HTML5.
- Knowledge and experience in applying object-oriented design and design patterns.
- Microsoft server administration, such as an IIS Web administration, SQL DBA administration, and file server administration is a plus.
- Ability to apply group development standards and work constructively within a development team.
- Good written and verbal communication.
