Part Time Correctional Officers - Part-time

Brookings County, South Dakota has immediate openings for part time Correctional Officers. Performs duties assigned in the areas of the legal process to include, directing supervision and well-being of prisoners in the Detention Center, ensuring that all Detention Center procedures are carefully followed and monitored, resolving prisoner complaints/requests within procedural guidelines and transporting prisoners as needed. Part time shifts include 2-3 weekends per month, holidays and on-call shifts as needed. Requirements include HS degree or GED and 1 year of college or vocational training.
