Temp to Hire PT Pet Care Associate

Set and Service Resources (SaSR) is currently recruiting for Pet Care Associates to work at the O'hare International Airport. This is a Temp to Hire Part Time Position. The client wishes to directly hire top performers. You will have the opportunity to care for a variety of animals including.... Dogs, Cats, Birds, Pigs, Hamsters, Sugar Gliders etc. ***Previous work experience in a Pet Care, Pet Store and/or Airport setting preferred Duties include: - Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the dogs under our care at all times - Walking and Feeding Dogs - Caring for Cats - Cleaning Kennels and Facilities - Watering All Animal Kennels - Documenting Services Performed - Insuring compliance with IATA and live animal regulation standards (will train) - Interfacing with animal of varying sizes, training and amenability - Coordinating vet visits as needed - Adherence to company protocols and policies - Displaying a high degree of independent decision-making and problem-solving capability Payrate is $13 per hour plus paid parking - No travel pay
Requirements: Requirements: - Varying shifts 5AM 11PM Mon-Sun (Bid scheduling) - Must be available to work holidays and weekends. - Previous work experience in a Pet Care, Pet Store and/or Airport setting preferred - Ability to work with fearful and stressed animals safely - Must Love animals of all types and possess a genuine interest in their well-being - Must Possess Multi-tasking skills - Must be a Team Player - Must Be able to lift 50lbs. - Must possess strong attention to detail - Must Have good oral and written communication skills - Must have drivers license good standing
