Assembler

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Assembler.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently hiring an Assembler for one of our clients in Rocky Mount, NC! Job Responsibilities: * Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. * Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. * Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. * Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. * Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions. * Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated. * Operation of a Powered industrial truck Requirements: * Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. * May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. * 2 to 3 years hands on experience in manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred) * In lieu of 2-3 years of mfg experience, completion (or in progress) of manufacturing, machining or related vocational programs and/or mechanical skills experience will be considered.
