Technical Center Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Technical Center Manager is needed for an excellent direct hire opportunity in Hanover, PA The successful candidate will have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and possess strong technical capabilities and a solid understanding of the heavy duty truck industry. This position is accountable for managing the Tech Center facility and supporting test activity related to: product validation and auditing, vehicle testing, and production support. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Knowledge of truck steering, suspension and hydraulic systems, and materials (especially cast iron and steel) *B.S.M.E. and supervisory experience *Knowledge of seal technology and materials *Knowledge of general engineering concepts and principles *Ability to train and lead a team of subordinates including engineers and technicians *Ability to communicate both verbally and in written format with internal/external customers (all levels) *Ability to identify and execute strategies to support objectives established by the Director of Product Engineering *Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems *Ability to collect, organize, summarize and document engineering test data *Skilled in the use of the MS Office Suite *CDL required The following responsibilities are considered essential job functions: *Maintains the Tech Center facility by monitoring essential services according to established maintenance and repair schedules *Manages Tech Center staff through prioritized work planning and scheduling *Develops testing methods and procedures using design of experiments and reliability analysis techniques *Designs equipment necessary to perform component and product testing *Writes reports to clearly summarize and document the data and results of engineering tests *Participates in warranty review and accident investigations *Performs other duties as assigned Apply now, and contact Manpower 717-764-7841 for more information!
