Experis is seeking an Executive Administrator located in Farmington Hills, MI.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for coordination of meetings and events, and management of communications. This individual will support the CIO office for our client's IT Department of a global automotive financial services company. The contractor will coordinate the IT Management meetings on a weekly basis, support with the facilitation of IT events, partner with internal customers and leaders to provide departmental communications support and communicate internal programs and initiatives to specific audiences. The contractor will create internal communications to inform employees about departmental initiatives, goals, challenges and achievements; as well as support in inspiring employees to take pride and ownership in the department and to drive ITs internal and external customer satisfaction and results.

Primary Requirements:

  • Organize and run the weekly IT Managers meeting. This includes room reservations, collecting topics for discussion, publishing agendas, meeting minutes, and chairing the meeting
  • Assure that all presentations, agendas, minutes and ancillary documentation is maintained in the IT SharePoint Site
  • Liaise with all IT management team to gather information and prioritize meeting topics
  • Coordinate internal departmental news information and placement across different channels including print, online, electronic, face-to-face; monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications
  • Assists in promoting IT brand awareness, IT Surveys, Improvement initiatives and employee-based content
  • Supports implementation and content management for internal communications
  • Provide writing, editing and proofreading expertise to the Office of the CIO, internal projects and leadership team
  • Build productive relationships with internal customers (executives and employees) and internal audience
  • Partner with corporate communications team to support initiatives and communications channels to exchange professional expertise and corporate communications guidance
  • Support, organize and facilitate departmental events and other executive level meetings
  • Support with standard presentations for the department, Headquarters or vendors
  • Department / CIO Office portal content creation and maintenance
  • Central (Office of the CIO) oversight and management of all departmental communications to Vendors, Business and other external entities; Support with IT communications for the regional departments

Qualifications/Skills:

  • A degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related fields
  • 3 to 6 years of communications experience
  • Facilitation, Organizational and planning skills
  • Information collection and information management experience

  • Research and editing skills
  • Time management and planning
