Microbiologist

Job Qualifications:

BS/BA Degree in Biology or Equivalent

Minimum of 3 years experience in HBA, Cosmetic or Drug industry or equivalent

Knowledge of CGMPs

Operational Knowledge of: Microbiology GMP's

Operational Knowledge of: Chemistry, Computer Skills and Related Disciplines

Good Communication Skills

Job Duties:

1. Communicating with Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor
2. Communication with Upper Management
3. Implementation of all method transfers.
4. Assisting with writing new test method procedures.
5. Assisting with reviewing and updating existing method procedures.
6. Following CGMPs.
7. Media preparation.
8. Microbial Content testing
9. Preservative Efficacy testing
10. Testing of incoming raw materials/chemicals.
11. Testing of in process, bulk, expired and finished products.
12. Assist with releasing approved products
13. Water testing
14. Environmental testing
