Physical Therapist
West Houston Medical Center offers outstanding inpatient and outpatient healthcare services close to your home in west Houston. Built in 1985, our 278-bed acute care hospital is located on Richmond Avenue just east of Dairy Ashford. West Houston Medical Center boasts a team of more than 1,000 people, including 500 physicians, who are committed to the care and improvement of human life. West Houston Medical Center is currently looking for a Physical Therapist .
Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patients; development, coordination, and implementation of the treatment plan; maintenance of informative, accurate, and timely documentation; participation in team meetings; training of others as indicated; and participation in continuing education.
Identifies when a CNA is in need of RN assistance for completion of patient care assignments, willing assist CNA with passing/collecting meal trays, linen changes, bathing/ambulating patients etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university required. Masters degree is preferred.
One year of related experience and/or training is also preferred.
Current Texas licensure and BLS certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training. Candidates without Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training are eligible for employment must complete certification at the first available opportunity
