Timpanogos Regional is currently searching for experienced RNs that have experience in Surgical Services to work in a Supervisor capacity. Our OR currently has seven(7) operating rooms. The scope of surgical services includes Open Hearth, Robotics, Urology, Ortho/Neuro, General Surgery and C-Sections, performed with the latest, most state of the art equipment.
This position is under the general supervision of the OR Director and assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the OR on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit. Functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in cecessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Utah State Registered Nurse Licensure.
Current BLS certification (available after hire).
Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Hospital Operating Room.
Leadership and management experience is highly desirable.
Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Current clinical knowledge.
