Position Description:
The Case Installations Account Service Representative performs employer benefit plan design coding to assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure building and revisions, and researching and resolving structure issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and
configure documentation (Summaries of Benefits, Summary of Benefits and
Coverage (SBC), Group Enrollment Agreements) for use by UnitedHealthcare
(Oxford Platform) employees. - Provide
subject matter expertise towards the configuration and maintenance of
policy, protocol, and inter- and intra- departmental processes and
communications as it relates to documentation. - Key
Accountabilities: - Research,
define, and communicate documentation set up detail for new and existing
documentation projects. - Communicate
new and/or updated information to stakeholders. - Assist
in the development and maintenance of tools to help facilitate the
consistent application of process and protocols for the department. - Identify
necessary changes in policy and workflow as a result of the development/
implementation of all business changes, internal policies and processes,
and external communications. - Manage
multiple projects for large and small business updates including
communication and documentation of these projects. - Interacts
with various departments to make decisions to ensure successful
implementation of corporate initiatives. - Partner
with the Product Development/Implementation and Legal teams to
create/update and implement documents to support product rollout initiatives.
- Perform
other projects and duties as assigned in support of department goals and
objectives. Examples of these would include but not be limited to:
participation in focus workgroups, attending team engagement activities,
and assistance with other areas for testing or research. - Complete
up training and online continuous learning as required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED or 10 years equivalent working experience.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word. Can perform formatting with text and charts.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic formulas.
- Office experience required, healthcare or insurance experience strongly preferred
- Be comfortable with working with team members in a virtual environment.
- Undergraduate degree is preferred.
- Experience with data mapping a plus.
- Familiarity with insurance and/or medical terminology preferred.
- Publishing or Editing experience is a plus.
- Candidates with leadership qualities are preferred. This includes the ability to work independently without direction, possession of problem solving and root/cause analysis skills, and the ability to be a change agent. Also included are candidates that take ownership of their work.
- Knowledge of medical industry and terminology preferred
- Healthcare or insurance experience strongly preferred
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, and long periods working at a computer
- Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity
- Must be able to work a 5 day week, 8 hour shift, any time between office hours of operation
