Time Warner Cable Business Class currently seeks Channel Sales Manager for our Business Class Sales Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility for this position is to identify, recruit, and develop qualified channel partners that will generate revenue based on selling Time Warner Cable ' s Business Class products and services. The Channel Sales Manager will produce revenue by preparing strategic sales plans and implementing sales campaigns to rapidly grow Indirect Sales revenue. In addition, the Channel Sales Manager ' s responsibilities include managing established Master Agent and sub-agent partners across the footprint.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Channel Sales Manager is an outside sales/sales management position (manages 100+ independent sales agents - channel partners).
Recruit, train, enable, and retain our qualified channel partners.
Create strategic business plans and monthly/quarterly revenue targets with Master Agents, and premier sub-agents.
Organize and conduct training programs to ensure our channel partners are certified to sell business class products and services.
Develop communications plan with Master Agents & sub-agents to drive market awareness of TWCBC, promote new product announcements and marketing/sales incentives to drive revenue growth.
Responsible for all sales support for Master Agent account base that includes: assisting partners to close business, single point of contact to engage sales engineering resources to close large complex deals

across the Pacific West footprint.
Identify any negative trends impacting sales and provide necessary problem resolution to the partners.
A thorough understanding of Voice (PRI, VOIP Applications), Data (TDM, DS3, OCx, & Ethernet services), equipment vendors (Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, etc.), and managed services is required.
100% of sales activity will be focused on acquisition of new revenue from our channel partners.
Participate in community and industry-related events to further develop the opportunities to secure new business.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding individual sales monthly revenue targets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor ' s degree in marketing or business related field, MBA preferred, and demonstrated experience (5- 8 years) in professional sales and marketing in the indirect sales channel, specifically selling telecommunications services, and a demonstrated ability to prospect new master agents and manage their sub-agents.
Experience with and knowledge of Voice (PRI, VOIP Applications), Data (TDM, DS3, OCx, & Ethernet services), equipment vendors (Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, etc.), and managed services is required .
Must be able to provide demonstrated selling success in these markets.
A demonstrated ability to make sales presentations to small and large sized groups and strong interpersonal skills, analytical, time management and problem solving abilities.
Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally.
High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills, including spreadsheets, presentation and word processing programs.
Valid driver ' s license and safe driving record.
