As a Business Analysis Consultant, you will use your business analysis skills to support small, medium, and large programs and initiatives for the Business Service Solutions organization.  In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to take the contributions of analysts and create valuable solutions to improve the health care system. Responsibilities:


 



  • Apply understanding and execution of analysis concepts, methodologies and practices.

  • Create and incorporate project objectives and measures into processes and requirements.

  • Extract and breakdown business requirements from gathering and analyzing data.

  • Review, evaluate and accurately document business requirements.

  • Contribute to solutioning, design, and test plans.

  • Effectively document and communicate decisions, understand customer needs and proactively develop, document, and communicate requirements to meet those needs.

  • Effectively manage to timelines and quality standards of the BA organization.

  • Predict and address emerging customer needs, while effectively managing business challenges and providing appropriate solutions.

  • Coach and mentor others.

  • Work on multiple large/extra-large, high complexity programs and projects.

  • Provide clear description of problems and risks for small - large priority issues.

  • Present options for problem resolution.

  • Apply quality standards in completing work.

  • Receive feedback and adjust work product as necessary.

  • Forecast time and plans resource requirements for projects and programs.

  • Work in a virtual team environment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


 


• Bachelor's Degree or 10 years work experience in lieu of degree.


• 5+ years proven experience to include gathering and documenting business requirements


• 3+ years of experience with business process workflows


• Experience working within an SDLC (system development life cycle) methodology including any of the following: Agile, Waterfall, Smart BPM, RSA or equivalent required.


• Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required.


• Intermediate proficiency level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Fully competent in business analysis with general direction.


• Receptive to coaching.


• Able to provide feedback to peers.


• Solid understanding of the business supported and good understanding of the company and industry.


• Self-motivated and self-starter, always seeking new opportunities


 


 


Preferred Qualifications:


 
• Requirements and Solutions Analysis Certified (RSA)
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology and/or SCRUM
• Healthcare experience
• Project management experience
• Consumer experience
• Experience working directly with senior level business stakeholders
• IBA Certification (CBAP or CCBA)
