POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing accurate data entry, verification, researching statistical data on technical operations metrics; coordinating database maintenance, developing and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly statistical reports reflecting technical operations activity, metric performance results, and other performance metric reporting; analyzing data, making recommendations and providing statistical support to Dispatch leadership as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Oversees database projects and data input, ensures sufficient testing and coordination is complete prior to publication of data.
Maintains database records on all Technical Operations employee metrics and provides reports reflecting their performance. Updates team and department listings as required.
Researches and analyzes questions and concerns related to the statistical databases and pertaining to metric reports, incentives, and productivity. Provides support to IS for all joint technical projects pertaining to statistical reporting.
Develops reports and provides feedback and recommendations to the management team on department performance.
Perform other duties as requested in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of designing and running queries in an AS/400 environment preferred. Thorough knowledge of MicroSoft Excel and Access. Knowledge of Avaya CMS software and Visual Basic.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and completion of at least one year of college.
