Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:

Accountable for managing/shaping demand for a group of retail products working collaboratively with Category Management, gaining consensus on one forecast that drives the business.

• Overall responsibility for accurately managing the forecast across a set of products/categories so that the business may be appropriately planned based on that forecast

• Work collaboratively with internal partners, and directly with our suppliers to ensure that key factors that influence demand are understood and reflected in the forecast

• Provide data to, and influence suppliers to understand future forecasting requirements and guide adequate production of finished goods to support sales growth

1. Develop and maintain baseline forecasts using JDA Demand module for a group retail store categories

2. Develop and maintain promotional, seasonal and event forecasts using Soft Solutions

3. Monitor Forecast accuracy and resolve exceptions with high/low bias with the goal of improvement and target achievement

4. Adjust forecast to account for market intelligence

5. Works with Category and Planning leadership to understand trends, identify new products, new product and promotional strategies to evaluate impacts on demand and make forecast adjustments.

6. Generate appropriate aggregations of forecast data to facilitate cross-functional communication. Support and impact category direction through feedback on historical and future forecasting as needed.

7. Use input from the analytics team to determine appropriate forecast models and parameter settings. Leverage the analytics driving innovation and creation of more efficient forecasting, planning and reporting models. Required Qualifications:

• Prior Demand and/or Supply Planning experience in a Retail, Manaufacturing or Consumer Goods organization • Exposure to Material Resource Planning for Retail, Manufacturing, Purchasing or Supply based organization a plus • Ability to calculate and analyze key forecasting metrics • Previous experience in an S&OP environment an asset Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong overall computer skills using quantitative products such as Excel, Access is a plus • Mathematical and basic statistical knowledge, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong business acumen and Supply Chain knowledge • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and influencing skills • Ability to resolve high profile issues • Flexible and adaptive, can quickly change direction or shift focus • Good judgment, emotional intelligence, and decision-making ability • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation skills • Strong time management and organizational skills • Detail oriented with understanding of big picture Education:

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelors degree preferred Business Overview:
