What do you do? Trainer- Employment Services What you need to know. Manpower, a global staffing agency is seeking a Trainer for the an employment center in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements: Trainer will help public assistance recipient with customer service and employment skills curriculum for three days a week. 2 days are for administrative and reporting. Candidate MUST have classroom training experience. English/Spanish Bi-lingual candidates preferred. What you need to know. Schedule is 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch. Pay rate $18.00 hourly, commensurate with experience. Job Description: TRAINER The Trainer uses interviews, counseling sessions, interest and aptitude assessment tests, and other methods to evaluate and advise students. Trainers utilize preventive and developmental counseling to provide individuals with the life skills needed to deal with problems before they occur and to enhance personal, social, and academic growth. In addition, trainers provide information on special outside employment services, employee interaction and conflict resolution classes. Trainers engage students individually, in small groups, or with the entire classes. Trainers must be continually up to date on educational and training requirements that are often very detailed and that vary by area and by counseling specialty. Qualifications: Bachelors with at least 1 year of teaching adult population. Prefer someone who has experience teaching customer service or job readiness curriculum. Trainer Responsibilities: - 3 days a week Classroom (Customer Service and Job Readiness Curriculum) - Computer Support for Job Candidates (applying to jobs online) - Filing Assistance (develop individualized responsibility plans, enrollment paperwork) - Data Management (input and update Excel database) - Outreach to all new and non-attending participants - Calculate and report E-time (on-line system), GA timesheets, and weekly attendance Additional Requirements: - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Internet - Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus - Able to communicate verbally and in writing as representative of the organization - Able to type 30-50 words per minute (wpm) - Must be willing to submit to background investigation If you are interested in this opportunity, please register at www.manpowerjobs.com.
