Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Looking for a Maintenance Technician for a long term position with a great company that offers growth.

Job Description: Maintain facilities, machines, fixtures, tools etc. utilizing lean manufacturing principles and tools.
1. Assist in the installation and ongoing maintenance of equipment.
2. Set up and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules (facility & equipment).
3. Perform facility maintenance as required. i.e. air lines, water lines, wiring, change light bulbs, paint, etc…
4. Perform daily activities in accordance to company and department policies and procedures.
5. Execution of maintenance work orders pertaining to any and all aspects of the manufacturing process, facilities or grounds.
6. Perform short term activities to meet departmental goals and objectives.
7. Efficiently utilize equipment and materials to promote/improve safety, housekeeping, quality, and reduce scrap.
8. Maintain/improve maintenance techniques/programs/problems through use of concern resolution tools, corrective actions, focus teams, etc.
9. Ensure correct implementation of ECR's and TS16949 processes.
10. Work with cross functional teams to execute company initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, Suggestion Program, Safety Committee, EMS, etc.)
11. Meet acceptable performance standards.
12. Communicate activities/issues to department manager.
Work Environment: Fast paced Automotive Manufacturing Team environment. Very clean plant. Quiet, fully ventillated. There is automated material moving hi-lo's that cruise around the plant, programmed to follow magnetic tape on the floor. Plant is set up in a neat fashion. Qualifications: * 1 -3 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
* Ability to trouble shoot and repair equipment (robotic, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, electronics, etc.)
* Blue Print Reading
* Electrical blueprint reading
* Any of the following professional certificates desired:
Journeyman card. Welding, plumbing, general electrical, machining, lighting and pneumatic certificates.
* Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards
* Knowledge of National Standard Electrical Codes Performance Expectations: Expectations are that this candidate will be willing to help out where ever possible. Daily PM's. Handle duties across the plant; mechanical, electrical, facilities. Additional Information: 2nd shift 4pm-130am. Could go to 12 hr shifts by summertime. Start time could change every 4 weeks. Rotating the shifts to start earlier if ever needed.
