Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Maintenance Mechanic...12 hour Nights shift.....$25-26/hour...Contract to Hire

1.) This is a night shift position on C&D shift. Time starts at 5:45p.m. to 6:15a.m. Two days on and Two days off. (Will work LOTS OF OT, Could be up to 72 hours)
2.) Candidate will repair and maintain machinery (fillers, cappers, ovens, conveyors, sterilization lines, packaging equipment, shipping equipment etc...
3.) Troubleshoot instrumentation, controls (Allen Bradley PLC's, AC/DC variable speed drives) and electrical issues surrounding the operation of production equipment
4.) Candidate will check and inspect all equipment periodically to determine the need for repair or preventative maintenance
5.) Carry out preventative maintenance on production equipment or systems as required by SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
6.) Cleans and organizes work place to ensure both operating and safety conditions
7.) Document all work performed: compiles with acceptable current GMP Practices
8.) Provides coverage for other mechanics and helpers as within their abilities, such as daily readings, changing expendable items and other tasks as requested by group leaders.
9.) Contributes to the production of a quality product which requires quality equipment maintained and updated by the maintenance department.
10.) Uses crutical thinking skills to determine possible causes of equipment failures.
11.) Will have to be proficient with blueprints, Schemtics, SOP's and work instructions.
