About this job
Objective-
To lead and execute all stockroom operations associated with freight, back stock maintanence, and training of back room employees tied to achieving stock room goals
Specific Responsibilities-
Drive, manage, and uphold backroom maintanence standards set by operations manager
Leading the execution of transfers and receiving by utilizing Zumiez freight procedures as well as high volume street back stock training
Communicate and drive productivity goals in transfers, receiving, and SOLD 2.0
Training of backroom employees utilizing the high volume streets back stock training packet
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications-
Commitment to outstanding customer service
Successful backroom management or leadership experience
Ability to lead 10-20 employees
Collaborative team leadership approach
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Knowledge of the brands and styles associated with Zumiez and the lifestyles it supports
Ability to work full time hours including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
Regular and predictable attendance
Timeline-
Execute daily and weekly to impact the period
Measurements-
Inventory results per cycle
Receiving and Processing freight standards
Transfers and SOLD 2.0 goals
Productivity goals
