Sodexo is currently looking for a Custodial Operations Manager 1, Environmental Services for our clients in the Modesto, CA area. This is a regional role where this person will be supporting clients over the area of Central/Northern California and will go where they are needed.
This position will be responsible for customer and client interaction, custodial inspection measurements, custodial operating levels, on-going training, quality, safety, pest control and the implementation of best practices. Will also be responsible for compliance, improved services, and timeliness of responses and validation of work quality.
Must have proven ability in:
Positive interaction with clients Follow up and communication Handling multiple priorities Working in a matrix organization Interaction with a diverse group - culturally and work groups - to ensure positive customer interaction Work with minimal supervision The “Hands-On” incumbent primarily handles day to day operational functions and ensures unit level, corporate, employee relations, safety, training, and unit operating systems compliance.
Required: Good working knowledge of state & federal employment law; solid computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; good communication and presentation skills; detailed oriented, and well organized.
High energy for fast paced environment. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role.

Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
