Lab Technician

Aerotek Scientific is seeking a Lab Technician for a growing company in the biotech industry in Wilsonville, OR. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities will include HPLC purification, maintenance on Purification instruments, preparing, reviewing, approving and applying customer labels to final product, and ensuring compliance with the procedures and policies of the Quality System.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related life sciences field.
• 2+ years of experience working in a related industry lab environment or equivalent internship experience.
• Candidates with hands-on experience working with HPLC will be given preference.
• Highly organized
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Well developed multi-tasking skills
• Experience in a laboratory setting, preferred
• Understanding of chemistry production, pharmaceutical or manufacturing process, preferred
