Buyer Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Buyer Assistant.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

ManpowerGroup is currently seeking a Buyer Assistant to help support our client's team in Denison, TX. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately 1 year. The pay for this position is $19.25/hr. Job Description: *Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies or services necessary for the operation of an establishment *Responsible for buying goods and services for use by their company or organization *Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors *Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts *Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services *Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods Requirements: *Bachelor degree in a financial discipline - preferred *5-7 years relevant experience with previous finance-related experience required *Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data *Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information *Knowledge of supply chain management *Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel *Ability to predict consumer buying patterns *Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing For additional information, please contact jordan.smith@manpowergroup.com and in the subject line list the name of the position and its location.
