Oracle Development Team Lead (contract to hire) - Full-time / Part-time

Immediate contract to hire need in Watertown for Oracle Develpoment Team Lead

Responsibilities
Lead a small team of database developers by offering guidance on daily tasks
Serve as the primary technical resource for custom data related projects
Interact with clients to determine and document requirements
Design, develop, implement and maintain database stored procedures and packages in support of application development, client migration projects, custom reporting and application support
Analyze and tune the performance of database queries

Required Skills:
Candidates should have at least 1-2 yrs lead or management experience within Oracle database technology/teams

Must have at least 5 years of experience in the following:
Oracle 11gR2 & 12c PL/SQL database development
Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions
Versioning with SVN
Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012 T-SQL database development
Microsoft T-SQL stored procedures and functions
SQL Server T-SQL to Oracle PL/SQL migration
Oracle PL/SQL performance and tuning
Java and/or Perl programming
Versioning with Subversion SVN

Preferred Skills:
Database data modeling a plus


EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent;

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years of related experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
