Job overview
Food expeditor assists the wait and kitchen staff by completing the meal plate for presentation to the guest and controlling the flow of food orders in and out of the kitchen.
Requirements
- Knowledge of kitchen operations.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Must have an outgoing, guest oriented attitude.
- Needs to work well in a team environment.
- Some food service experience helpful, but not a requirement.
- Customer service jobs also an asset.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift, and able to carry trays up and down stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and be able to bend repeatedly.
- Must have open availability.
