Upholsters must be able to work 8-10 hour shifts in a climate contolled environment, requiring continuous standing while operating hand tools and air compressed tools to adhere fabric to frames. Upholsterers are required to work 40 hours per week and be flexible for overtime as needed.
Upholsterer Job Description:

Upholster fabric and leather furniture

Secure fabric and leather using a variety of hand tools including staple guns, air guns and drills

Match cover material with correct frame

Take cover material and upholster all frame parts

Read instructions on product specifications including leg color, finish, springs or webbing, and other order requirements

Visually inspect work to ensure quality

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience using air tools is a plus (staple gun, air racket, drill, blower)

Ability to recognize proper nuts, bolts and screw per style

Ability to assemble furniture frames per provided specs

Strength to pull and hold products in place during assembly

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand for 8-10 hours

Ability to bend, push and pull as needed

Must be flexible to working overtime as needed
