Improve company profitability by maintaining Store LP programs to reduce exposure to theft
Ensure compliance with internal and external LP programs
- Monitors customer and associate activities in the store and takes appropriate action to prevent theft
- Conducts surveillance of external theft suspects in compliance with Company Guidelines.
- Apprehends individuals engaged in theft activity in compliance with Company Guidelines.
- Assists in internal theft investigations in compliance with Company Guidelines.
- Accurately completes all statistical and incident reports.
- Maintains all apprehension and investigation records according to company standards.
- Uses CCTV surveillance equipment
- Conducts operational audits to ensure best practice compliance
Monitor internal and external Store LP programs
- Assists in monitoring store compliance with Company policies and procedures relating to theft deterrence, safety, and operational controls
- Informs Supervisor and Store Management of shortage control opportunities.
- Monitors store alarm system and EAS system
- Assists awareness building activities in the store.

Required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Capable of detaining theft suspects.
- Works well with fellow associates, supervisors and customers
- Ability to spend 100% of time in physical activities, including walking, lifting and climbing on a regular basis.
Preferred
- Prior experience or education in Loss Prevention, security, or law enforcement
- Knowledge of surveillance and apprehension techniques;
- Proficiency with Microsoft office software.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Loss Prevention or educational background in Loss Prevention, security, or law enforcement preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance and apprehension techniques; demonstrated ability to make decisions in stressful situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic math and reading skills and legible handwriting.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Word, Excel and various other computer programs.
