Are you an experienced Loan Processor with at least three (3) years' experience in the field? Are you looking for a position that is closer in the Hudson Valley instead of driving to New Jersey or commuting to Manhattan? If so, we might have the job that you have been praying for. A client of ours located in the Newburgh area is looking for an experienced Loan Processor (Experience in Reverse Loan Processing, even better) to assist their busy, growing company. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the following: *Process applications from time of receipt of application to submission of the loan package to underwriting *Gather, organize and track loan documentation *Work with lenders, applicants, underwriters, closers, appraisal dept. and others to complete processing *Select appropriate title company, surveyors, appraisers and other vendors, for processing mortgage loan applications and manage each vendors status for each loan *Analyze credit and collateral documents and submit files to underwriting *Responsible for entering accurate HMDA information for approved as well as denied loans *Clear loan conditions and communicate effectively with team *Verify customer income documentation *Resolve routine title issues including vesting issues and various liens *Prepare loan paperwork for signing and submission *Ensure files are processed in accordance with service level agreements *Submit approved loans to the closing department *Coordinate and schedule loan closings *Execute closing actions to ensure a timely and effective closing process. The ideal candidate will possess the following requirements: Desired skills and experience include: *MUST HAVE a minimum 3 years of Loan Processing; Reverse Experience a Plus! *Knowledge of State/Federal regulations to maintain loan file compliance *Exceptional detail, organization, and problem solving skills are a must *Proven ability to handle extensive pipeline and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment *Strong interpersonal skill as wells as excellent oral and written communications skills *Positive attitude, high energy, self-motivated and service-oriented mindset *Past experience demonstrating sensitivity and tact in handling highly confidential information If you are qualified and able to make the move, please forward your up-to date resume showing you have what it takes for the position.
