Customer Service Rep - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently searching for a Customer Service Representitive, for a 60 day contract position, in the Federal Way area.

Key Functions:
-Provide superior customer service
-All elements necessary to complete import and/or export documentation and customer service. Roll may include:
-Input and release of documents within stringent accuracy and regulatory requirements
-Production and distribution of manifests
-Working with vendors and customers to deliver import cargo
-Coordinate export loads
-Appointments and dispatching
-Equipment management
-Support services to regional sales managers and agents in North America and the Far East
-Professional, thorough communication with customers regarding their shipments
-Working within a cross-functional team
-Interface directly with other internal business segments or support teams. (accounting, vessel operations, pricing, sales & marketing, forest products, project cargo)
-External interaction and communication with regulatory agencies, suppliers, etc.
-Problem solving, cost analysis of resolutions

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree or a minimum of three years business experience. (transportation customer service, logistics, import/export, etc.)
-Interpersonal and teaming skills
-Ability to independently work on projects, self motivated
-Customer service background and philosophy
-Must be able to handle heavy phone and email volumes
-Prioritize and multi-task effectively
-Professional written and verbal skills
-Data entry, computer, organizational and time management skills are mandatory
-Ability to work in upset conditions or with difficult situations
-Capable to problem solve and work cooperatively across all levels of the organization
-Must be able to contribute to a high performing team environment
-Familiarity with the shipping industry and/or Bills of Lading is desirable
