Our technology and online retail client is seeking 20 full and part-time Speech & Language Annotators to work remotely from home (after 1 week of on-site training in Cambridge, MA). All candidates MUST live in Massachusetts or New Hampshire to be considered for this role.

The candidate will work under the direction of the Annotation Program Manager, and must be capable of delivering high quality under aggressive time constraints. Specifically, the Annotator will:

  • Provide hands-on transcription and annotation services.
  • Translate established guidelines into daily work practices.
  • Work with management on workload scheduling and deliverables.

In this role, you will get to show your exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. You will also capitalize on your:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly analyze data to draw and present conclusions with actionable steps.
  • Ability to multitask across several speech domains and work autonomously with minimum direction.

This job requires is a commitment of a minimum of 25 hours per week. Expectation is for work to be done at home, and hours are flexible. Fast and stable internet connection is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent proficiency in US English, both verbal and written skills, particularly grammar and spelling.
  • All candidates must be native English speakers.
  • Computer literacy and be comfortable using Windows operating system and laptop computer
  • Comprehension of speech from various dialects and accents.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm.
  • Ability to work with audio content wearing headsets.
  • Experience working with technical teams and information.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous language annotation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with languages other than English is preferred.
