Techinician - Full-time / Part-time

We are currently looking for qualified electro-mechanical technicians that are experienced with large commercial installations.�� We have positions open at a large semiconductor in Malta, NY and are looking for technicians at all skill levels.��

Our technicians will be responsible for assembling the OSS (overhead storage systems). The cleanroom storage systems are optimally designed for secure and space-saving storage systems in which the FOUP's go into. A FOUP is an acronym for Front Opening Unified Pod or Front Opening Universal Pod. It is a specialised plastic enclosure designed to hold silicon wafers securely and safely in a controlled environment.

The OSS is both mechanical and electrical so the ideal technician will have a stronger electrical apptitude with some mechanical. They will be reading/following blue prints and building them or assembling them before they are installed. The OSS connects to the track which runs throughout the ceiling of the clean room. This person will be responsible for installing the OSS as well as assembling it.
