We are currently looking for a Purchasing Coordinator ­­­­­­­­­­­­to join our innovative, growing company.

This position will support our Frontline Marketing division of Acosta Mosaic Group.

The purchasing coordinator ensures all order documents are prepared prior to submission to vendor. Maintains files and records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries. Develops source of vendors and establishes good working / business relationships with same. Get quality products at competitive pricing.

Responsibilities:

The Purchasing Coordinator will:
  • All documents are accurately prepared prior to submission to vendors
  • Maintains list of quality vendors that provide available materials, pricing, inventory levels and delivery records
  • Corresponds / communicates with suppliers on order status and/or issues.
  • Corresponds / communicates with suppliers on order status and/or issues
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree - Preferred in Business, Finance or related fields.
  • Two plus years in a procurement
  • Experience working with an ERP or purchase order solution
  • Direct experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Detail oriented and process driven
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service

  • Ability to manage execution of purchasing functionality within ERP; Vendor database management, purchase order execution and items receipt and maintenance
  • Ability to interact with the Client Service Team to support purchasing/purchase order needs and ensure compliance
  • Ability to accept ownership of the ERP system purchase order functionality as it pertains to procurement and provide recommendations for further enhancement and efficiencies
  • Knowledge of system training, implementation, testing and enhancements
  • Systems reporting
  • With the ability to provide procurement team vendor support; vendor approvals, issue resolution, reporting.
  • Strong analytical with attention to detail skills.
