Optum
is searching for a rock star that thinks like a marketer and has the passion
and the capabilities to build the technology foundation that will drive
marketing innovation and scale. Our ideal candidate is an expert in getting the
most out of marketing automation systems to fuel innovative and effective
marketing campaigns as well as build a rock solid operating infrastructure for
our leads, database, reporting & analytics. You should be an analytical and
operational thinker, naturally curious and interested in creating new best in
class, leading edge marketing methods and processes.





 


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the Marketing Services Go-to
    expert on the Marketing Automation Tool (MAT).
  • Administer, maintain and support MAT.
  • Streamline MAT backend workflows,
    integrations and import/export processes.
  • Troubleshoot and solve MAT
    application issues and/or deficiencies.
  • Collaborate extensively with the
    Demand Generation team to offer solutions and Best Practice guidelines for campaigns,
    emails, forms and landing pages.
  • Lead data integration efforts with
    our CRM platform, Salesforce.com, including audience targeting and list
    generation, personalization, lead scoring and campaign reporting.
  • Support and advance our continuous
    campaign optimization efforts, including analyzing campaign results and tests,
    gleaning insights from the results and actively contributing new ideas for
    future tests and program enhancements.
  • Collaborating on process automation,
    including trigger based campaigns, auto-responders, and nurture programs.
  • Collaborate
    extensively with the Analytics team on data quality and governance on MAT
    inputs/outputs used across various reporting platforms.
  • Must
    have the ability to apply segmentation, a/b
    testing, and personalization strategies.
  • Obtain a basic familiarity with web
    based analytics systems. Adobe Analytics experience preferred.























Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with
    a marketing automation platform such as Eloqua, or Marketo, or an email
    platform like Responsys or ExactTarget. Eloqua experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with a CRM
    platform used for managing client and prospect databases and report on campaign
    execution and effectiveness. Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience with basic
    HTML knowledge and web development proficiency, including best practices for
    cross-client compatibility/consistency.  Sound design sense and creative
    sensibility.
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft
    Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.












Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relative market
    equivalent work experience.

    with excellent people and time-management skills.
  • Solid understanding of direct
    marketing principles and strategy.
  • A skilled communicator, both written
    and verbally.
  • Must possess strong organizational
    and project management skills, proven ability to meet deadlines while managing
    multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to work independently. 
    Flexibility is key as priorities and deadlines change.
  • Have demonstrable problem solving
    and independent decision making skills
  • Is customer centric and exudes a can-do attitude.
