About this job
Database engineer will work in a small, tight knit team of contractors and Government personnel in the creation of a relational database for the US Army.
Will develop a database that comply with DoD regulations around security, accessibility and connectivity.
Understand and incorporate Information Assurance (IA) policies as they apply to DoD SW.
Researches and evaluates new technologies for integration and use in future technical projects.
Design and develop relational databases using SQL, DBMS or Access technologies.
Performs technical design, development, testing, implementation and management of new technologies.
Understands and incorporates some web-based technologies for internet access to the applications and databases associated with this research effort.
