Welder - $14.50/hr - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Commerical Skilled Trades is currently looking for Mig Structural welders with 3 to 5 years experience. They will be working on converting pickup trucks to boom trucks. They must have experience Fabricating and Welding. They must be able to read blue prints and welding symbols. The candidate must be able to take a blueprint and kitted material and be able to correctly assemble the product.
People that can not fabricate or have only done production welding will NOT qualify.

Mandatory Skills- Fabrication, Cutting torch, Blue Prints, Welding Symbols, Be able to convert Fractions to Decimals

Candidates will have to pass a blue print and math test before they move to the welding test. If they pass both tests they will be placed in a training cell and work side by side with a trainer on product for up to two weeks.

Currently there are 1st and 3rd shifts available. 1st shift hours are 7am - 3:30pm and 3rd shift hours are 11pm - 7am. 1st shift pays $14/hr and 3rd shift pays $14.50/hr.
