Warehouse / Production Associate - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Warehouse / Production Associate.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Our client in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Warehouse/Production Associate. Primary responsibilities are to assemble light medical devices and components, perform incoming inspection and receiving/stocking duties, and shipping duties to include pick/pack and prepare shipping documents/paperwork, as assigned by the Production Manager. Daily duties and assignments are subject to change, based upon production needs and logistics requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Pack/Shipping/Receiving (as assigned) * Load and unload outgoing/incoming shipments; * Inspect and report damage on incoming shipments; * Pull shipping orders, examine and verify count, gather all products making up respective orders; * Pack goods and prepare all necessary documents for domestic and international orders, including internal documents, packing lists, shipping labels, and international paperwork; * Report any issues, such as stock levels with regard to ability to fill assigned orders, to the Production Manager; * Match method of shipping with shipping label to insure accuracy and designated carrier; * Other Shipping/Receiving and inventory management/logistics duties, as assigned. Production/Device Assembly (as assigned) * Assemble and/or kit light medical parts/components, medical garments, and Meducate medical literature into final products, per documented procedures and work instructions; * Perform/document in-process and final inspection of assembled components; notify Production Manager when components exceed allowable defect rates; * Receive, inspect, stock, and ship disposable medical garment product line; * Ensure that all materials, included in-process rejections, are properly accounted for on a daily basis. Education and Experience * High school diploma / GED or relevant experience; * 1-3 years experience in light assembly, packing, and shipping environment desirable. Skills and Abilities * Consistent high degree of attention to detail, demonstrated concern for accuracy; * Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to function successfully in team environment; * Basic PC literacy; * Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities and instructions; * Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions and procedures; capable of reading/interpreting gages and measuring devices; * Ability to comprehend and retain working knowledge of complete product line, through the use of written documentation and work instructions; * Excellent hand dexterity / small motor skills, eye-hand coordination; able to use small tools and assembly equipment; * Able to operate pallet jacks and motorized equipment (as trained); * Patience to tolerate long periods of repetitive task. Individual will need to sit (at times for extended periods) or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface during the workday. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to move materials during the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques. The pay range for this position is $12.00 - $13.00 per hour. The hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm (Mon-Fri). A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
