Duties:
-Devise and deploy all sales objectives and goals across the company, including sales targets and budgets.
-Develop and implement quarterly and annual sales programs, plans, and policies.
-Manage the performance and activities of the entire sales, marketing, and service department.
-Create training and development programs for sales staff, dealers, and service.
-Build a dealer network. Develop sales through our existing dealers and establish new dealers.
-Develop the annual trade show plan and other marketing activities. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
-Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
-Maintain responsibility for any equipment, vehicles, computers or inventory assigned with respect and integrity.
-Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans including forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
-Develop and manage sales, marketing, and service operating budgets.
-Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
-Ensure effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
-Oversee and evaluate market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
-Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
-Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
-Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
-Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
-Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
-Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
-Experience in Ag equipment sales with established Ag dealer contacts.
-Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics.
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
-Strong presentation and training skills.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Computer skills - software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and email etc.
-Strong knowledge of company products, processes, policies and distribution system.
-Passion and commitment to company products.
-Valid driver's license.
