Sodexo Education - Schools Business Segment is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large $18MM metro market K-12 School District account in Springfield, MA! Experience managing a school food service program is needed to be successful in this role.
This large urban district serves approximately 29,000 students in 60 school sites which include Elementary, Middle, High, Charter and Alternative Learning schools, plus an Administration Cafe. You will be responsible for the development and management of the entire Food operation including Catering and a Summer Feeding program. You will manage a $18MM Budget including forecasting, monthly operational statements, annual reports and analysis. You will also be responsible for Human Resources support for 300+ Sodexo Unionized employees and 25 Sodexo Managers and support staff. You will lead all daily operations and will work with multiple layers of District and City clients; seeking candidates with strong leadership experience and who excels in Client relations. This is a full year working position.

Position Summary
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 4 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
