About this job

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

Direct all maintenance personnel and daily maintenance activities, including coordination of schedule with operations.

Maintain the CMMS programs, both PM and Corrective.

Supervise contract maintenance work.

Assign work orders to Maintenance Technicians.

Monitor progress of work orders.

Enter, Review, and approve all purchase requisitions needed.

Maintain spare parts inventory.

Work with internal customers to maintain focus on priority maintenance activities.

Perform safety inspections as required.

Report all maintenance activities and disciplinary issues to the Site Leader.

Maintain close contact with Site Leader on all projects and maintenance issues

Assist Site Leader and manage some CAPEX projects.

Maintain all necessary records to insure a positive out come on any audit, ISO 9001 etc.

Work with Maintenance Excellence Leader to track and investigate systemic issues, and implement corrective actions where appropriate

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

Minimum 5 years maintenance department in a manufacturing environment. .

Preferred Qualifications:

2 year technical degree preferred.

Understanding of production administration functions including accounting, engineering, and human resources. High degree of initiative is required as well as ability to respond quickly, effectively and accurately to employee and production issues.

Must have the ability to establish/build relationships with peers, subordinates, and internal customers.

Must have the ability to balance multiple and changing production requirements and to make sound business decisions using facts and good judgment.

Excellent leadership skills, strong teamwork and communication skills are required. Strong computer skills in general usage, SAP and MS Office software.
