About this job
Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Operations Managers for Newport Hospital, a 70-bed facility. The Operations Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for the oversight of retail, patient dining services and catering. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the culinary and production areas as well as client initiatives, business plan implementation, budget involvement, implementing Sodexo systems and enhancing operational outcomes.

Assumes General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
