An entry level opening to our Engineering Team of a Fire Protection/Fire Suppression Team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years' experience fluency in AutoCAD is required.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines
Thorough understanding of general construction methods, practices, and terminology.
High level of self-discipline, motivation and ability to operate in a team environment.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Demonstrated interpersonal and effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design automatic fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA standards and Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia Fire Code.
Perform field surveys for initial drawing layout as well as follow-up for accuracy and coordination.
PAY RANGE:
Pay depends on your level of experience and education.
