Aerotek is currently seeking for a CNC Machinist/ CNC lathes for a leading fabrication shop in Salt Lake, UT.
The CNC machinist must have at least 5 years of experience as a CNC turning center machinist and have the ability to set up and operate lathes, Mori Seiki including live tooling, Y axis and sub-spindle.
The CNC lathe machinist must have a solid knowledge of G&M codes and hands-on experience of modern CNC turning centers.
The machinists will machine parts for a wide variety of industries in the aerospace, medical, firearms and other industrial and commercial sectors.
The successful candidate must have at least 5-10 years of stable work history in the machining industry and at least 5 years as a CNC lather machinist.
Day shift, Monday - Friday 7am-4 + OT
Wages are between $24-27/hour DOE, the position will pay more in the $30's if the candidate would have an excellent background in programming and leading teams.
Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
