The individual selected for this highly visible position is a key liaison between CVS Health and Red Oak Sourcing supporting all aspects of CVS Health’s retail and mail generic pharmaceutical purchasing including strategy, formulary optimization, and generic vendor contractual operations. This Advisor position is within a fast-paced, collegial environment, providing the right individual with an opportunity for career advancement and the ability to directly and positively impact CVS Health’s strategic initiatives associated with the generic pharmaceutical landscape. The Advisor’s responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with Red Oak Sourcing to effectively support end-to-end contractual business production processes of generic pharmaceuticals purchased into CVS Health’s retail distribution, retail pharmacy and mail facilities, including contractual maintenance of generic supplier direct contract pricing negotiated by Red Oak Sourcing for over 3,700 retail formulary items and over 3,000 mail formulary items and indirect pricing contractual terms for over 18,000 items within the CVS Health’s Psoft and SAP formulary management platforms

• Engaging across all business segments to proactively evaluate opportunities, create and drive business solutions related to the generic pharmaceutical landscape, including the coordination of generic product launches, market break opens, and appropriate inventory management approaches of market shortages and supply disruptions; Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: • 3 to 5 years analytical or equivalent work experience; • Superior problem solving skills with a proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced, ever changing environment; • Proven ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal form, in a manner that is clear, logical and consistent, including the ability to present findings and influence decisions across all levels of the organization; • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to positively interact within all levels of the organization, including executive management; • Proven ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines; • Self-motivated and highly responsive with proven ability to take initiative and work successfully both independently and with a team; • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
