Summary:
The Beauty Advisor Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to customers as part of the sales team; advising customers on beauty products; handling assigned store duties; and all other functions as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position which reports to the Assistant Manager, Store Manager or General Manager, depending on local requirements.
Essential Functions:
· Provides the highest quality of service to our customers at all times; greets customers in a friendly manner
· Provides beauty make-overs and product demonstrations
· Meets sales goals with the suggestive selling of products (i.e.: cosmetics, skin care, fragrances) and completing transactions
· Performs store duties such as inventory counts, store cleanliness, and stocking shelves
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
· Must be 18 years of age
· Minimum of 1 year retail experience and cash handling experience preferred; extensive cosmetic/skin care knowledge
· Requires excellent customer service skills
· Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
