Position:
Contractor looking for a full time Project Manager with 7 years of project management experience. Our projects include exterior work on new and remodel construction, enhancements and repairs. Our professional services areas include: roofing, siding, trims, new and replacement windows, manufactured stone, and metal flashing wrap. Must be able to handle multiple projects in DC and surrounding areas.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should be familiar with Commercial/Residential construction practices, techniques, tools, equipment and materials. The candidate should have experience with siding and exterior trim, roofing and basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
Responsibilities:
? Coordinate scheduling, ordering, some field supervision, quality control, production of all phases construction
? Maintain project schedules and construction budgets to ensure on time and on budge delivery of projects
? Interact with co-workers, construction personnel, vendors to ensure on time completion of projects
? Coordinate and complete site inspections
? Able to be flexible and willing to work within constantly changing environment
? Ability to work on projects with general and minimal guidance
? Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
? Render and complete construction documentation
? Prepare and submit City required documentation
? Handle plan check requirements and corrections through approval process
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Background and experience in Retail/Commercial related projects.
3. Thorough knowledge of design principles and construction materials.
4. Familiar with City ordinance codes and experience with the permit application process.
